Entry XIX
The Council decided to travel to Amber and feel out Delwin who is currently claiming kingship. I’m not sure what I think of him, but he makes a pretty decent first impression. At this point in time I’m not sure if I have a particular preference for who is King in Amber, I just want to make sure that we don’t make too many important people angry while we are trying to get ourselves established.
Met his son Dashell who seems a bit absent-minded. And by a bit I mean, he probably wears mismatched socks and can’t find his pen when he’s holding it in his hand, but he’s nice. Dashell is an inventor and showed us some pretty interesting gadgets. He doesn’t seem even remotely interested in politics which might be useful for Ironwood and/or Roland in the future.

Entry XX
Brand appeared to the group and told us that the Houses of Chaos were unstable and that something needed to be done post haste. He then got a panicked look on his face and said “This might help.” and then he tossed Werewindle into the group and disappeared. I’m not really sure how it even happened, but I found myself standing with my arm out, my hand wrapped around the hilt of the gleaming pattern sword.
I am indescribably happy that I did not immediately burst into flames.
