Entry XXI
We infiltrated the ways of House Jesby to rescue Merlin. Yasmine found a secret entrance into the ways and we travelled through a trap-ridden corridor. She was leading the way and almost died in a pit of lava, but she was able to warn us and keep the party safe from the many dangers. While searching for Merlin I accidentally ran into Prince Corwin of Amber who unfortunately noticed the sword at my hip. There followed a rather intense encounter, but we were able to move on without hinderance.
We found Merlin down in the depths of the ways trapped in a strange power orb. The others went into the orb to retrieve him while Wren, Dashell, and I stayed out and fought off a towering horde of scorpians. We managed to escape with Merlin, most of the party is in horrible shape and we will be back here in Ironwood for awhile to recooperate.
